ARTS 2560: Special Topics in Printmaking is a studio class that explores works on/of paper. Class time features discussions and analyzing different forms of bookbinding, works on/of paper, workshops, and critiques. The class also includes hands-on tutorials on manipulating paper and bookbinding. The assignments apply Turkish Map Fold, No­Glue Book, Flag Book, and other paper manipulations. Students will also learn multiple binding styles, including Coptic-Style and Case-Binding. There's no prerequisite for this class.
