This course introduces the student to dramatic writing for Film, Television and Streaming series. Students will learn the craft of commercial screenwriting and visual story telling. It will include analysis of feature films, screenplays, scene building, character development, dialogue, writing exercises, and workshop-style critiques. Students will work individually and in teams. Each student will complete a full Outline of a full-length screenplay or two episodes for a series, and complete a draft of their first ACT – 30 pages, or a complete Pilot Episode.
