Housing - Visiting Students
Guest Housing is available* at the Cavalier Inn. A single room can be reserved at $50/night plus taxes. A double will cost $25/night plus taxes. If you are interested in guest housing, please let our office know by December 5, 2017 (do not contact the Cavalier Inn directly) and we will do our best to accommodate you. Space is limited.

Students may purchase "Plus Dollars" for use at On Grounds dining locations. UVa Dining Services determines which locations will be open during J-term. For more information visit http://virginia.campusdish.com/

During the January term, some of the services provided by Parking and Transportation are altered from the services provided during the regular academic term. For example, during the January term, University Transit Service will be running on a Student Holiday Service www.virginia.edu/parking/service/holiday.html. The Central Grounds Parking Garage will be open with regular hourly rates charged. Limited reserved parking may be available at University Hall, Emmet/Ivy Garage, and Culbreth Garage. To purchase permits and obtain more information, please call Parking & Transportation at 434-924-7231 or go to the Parking & Transportation Web site at www.virginia.edu/parking.
The Office of the Dean of Students helps students work through challenging situations, discuss individual and community issues of concern, and develop programming ideas.
Operational hours at Student Health are 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, during January Term.
University Police will maintain the same level of support and resources during January Term as they provide during the academic year. The information may be obtained by visiting their website at www.virginia.edu/uvapolice.
SafeRide's purpose is to provide a safe passage for current students with valid UVa student IDs, who would otherwise have to walk alone at night. Hours of Operations: 12:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m., seven days a week.during the January Term Session. Newcomb Hall will be open from 8am to 5pm, Monday thru Friday during January Term.
