This course introduces central issues in the relationship between humanity and the natural world. We will focus on various themes that are central to the role of human values in the Anthropocene, and also examine the function of science and technology in identifying and analyzing sociotechnical problems. Students will learn the fundamentals about the drivers of environmental challenges and changes.
