The pandemic, climate change, gender inequalities and other global problems affect almost everyone, but since we live in a world of nations, how we solve these problems depends on local conditions. Students, taught by a team of faculty, will learn how societies in Asia, Africa, Middle-East and Europe are responding to global challenges and will also “travel” virtually to a number of cities where UVa study abroad programs are located.
