In this course, students will learn about the major French diplomatic institutions, European and International organizations based in French-speaking countries, and the primary positions within the French and francophone foreign affairs' world. Throughout the course they will gain experience in International Relations research in French, they will hone their oral and written language skills for use in diplomatic structures, will have practice job interviews, and will learn the practical/cultural aspects of living and working in French. This course is intended to give students an opportunity to transfer their language capacities and knowledge in a professional context, should they decide to seek a job or an internship overseas OR work in International Relations during or after their studies.
This online course will be held exclusively in French.
Prerequisite: FREN 3032.
